Springing Forward

Are you excited for Daylight Savings??? We are!!! Yay!!! In the summer, it gets dark here at 10pm! Crazy, Huh? I always feel like I get soooo much more done after work and have tons more energy/motivation with the time change...
Well, we have been blessed with some warm weather...73 degrees today to be exact, and although it will not last (temps back in the low 40's by the end of next week), we thought we'd enjoy the "great outdoors." Yes, that's me in shorts!!!! Hope you are not blinded by my whiteness...LOL!
We took the pups to Morse Lake. We walked around the trails, and then let them off their leashes so they could frolic in the grass! They LOOOOOOVVVEEEEE it!!!
I can't wait for it to warm up and picnic here like we did last summer. They have a really cool Frisbee Golf course here that we want to check out. Everytime we come here, we always see people playing and it looks pretty interesting.

What did you boys discover????When we left California, Sammy had a discolored nose that was always dry, cracked and bleeding. When we took him to the vet, we were told he probably had an allergic reaction to one of the plants in out backyard. After we sold our house and moved in with my dad, his nose got even worse.
After about of month of living in Indy, his nose healed and has been normal ever since...weird huh??? He seems very happy here- he is always running and smiling...
He knows how to look so completely adorable, that he suckers Ryan into tons of lovin'.
Frodie has become quite the explorer. He ventures quite a ways from us, but always comes when we call for him. Sam on the other hand, doesn't listen quite as well...
I love looking at the big lakefront homes. Maybe if I win the lottery one of these days I'll buy one ... Wouldn't you love to live in one of these?? So pretty!!!!
Ryan went over to Zach and Kristen's to play Corn Hole. Here are Brian and Kristen...the lady in the ball cap is our neighbor Tammy. She lives in between Brian/Sabrina and Zach/Kristen. Her husband and 3 kids relocated here from Minnesota. It's kind of cool that so many of our neighbors are from different states...Come on Kristen!!! Beat Ryan and Zach!!!I know I say it in every BLOG, but we love, love, love our neighbors! With a new build, you never know what you are going to get- we have been so fortunate to have made such awesome friends! I would like to wish my baby sister Alyssa a VERY HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY!!!! Wow, a quarter century old!!! I can't believe it! I love and miss you and hope you have the most awesome year ever!!! I love you sista!!! xoxoxo

Until next time...xo

Cute dogs! I remember when the little one was JUST a baby and we were all at Carol and Terry's for Christmas! Time flies. Enjoy that nice weather and those beautiful scenes! I'm glad you share with us. :)

We are so much a like. We love taking our doggies every where too. :) We just spent the day at the dog beach again this weekend, and there is a dog park that they love as well.
Have you found any cool trails in Indy yet? We had a few we liked in TN. Just one suggestion - make sure to use Frontline on your dogs - because when we went on walks we would find ticks on them sometimes, but w/ frontline - they would just die and fall off. One thing I DON'T miss about TN! LOL
You and Ryan are so lucky to have great neighbors! You all look like you're having a blast everytime in the pictures. Thanks for sharing! :) xo

Brookie -

First of all, hello my love.

Secondly, I think that the golf game is called Disc Golf?? Joe has talked about how he used to play Disc Golf all the time - I bet that's what he is talking about!

Cool!

Hugs and Kisses!

Brooke! I am so happy for you and the warm weather! We are experiencing it too. I cant believe it but it was in the 70's yesterday, it seemed like the winter would not end for a while there. It is a bit cooler today but certainly tolerable.
The dogs look like they had a blast! I havent taken mine many places yet, thankfully they have a big yard to play in. Since both were rescues, neither were trained to walk on a leash, so it makes walks hard. :(
Emma asked me where you and Ryan lived day before yesterday, she is learning her states. I told her Indiana and she asked me when we were visiting. I am hoping soon, maybe I will see when you have some time and do something this summer?
I want to make sure we are past the cold weather before I get out on the road.
xoxo
