Our First Weekend Alone...

Well, today is our first Saturday alone in the house together. This morning we experienced the LOUDEST thunder we have ever heard!!! It rained off and on until about noon. By early afternoon, the sun came out and the skies were blue. It turned into a very pleasant afternoon. For the most part, we have been pretty productive. We woke up this morning and hung a few mirrors and pictures and Ryan installed the surround sound speakers.

I took the doggies out in the yard to play and they were so happy! Frodo wanted to play fetch non-stop and Sammy sat in the grass and rolled around on his back.

I snapped a pic of the horses across the street for everyone to see. For the most part we had another lazy day in the midwest...

On Sunday, my co-worker from Bear Valley and her husband came to visit us. Teri and Tom Chelbana just retired and are on a 6 week roadtrip and are taking their RV across the country. They were in Indy for two days and decided to come by and check out the casa. They are such a wonderful couple. They brought us a beautiful plant and had dinner with us at Kincaid's Steakhouse in Carmel. I have a feeling this isn't the last time we'll be seeing them, as Teri shared that they usually frequent the midwest once a year.
