Snowy Start to the New Year!

This BLOG post is very typical for the first week of January. We are dieting as a result of all the calories we consumed over the holidays, and we had to go back to work. We got hit heavy with snow and Winter is in full effect. It has been an average week in the life of Brooke and Ryan Beavers.

Snow and sunshine were seen...

There were some smiles...Some Goofing Around...
Some lovin'... The diet is going well. We are back on South Beach. Ryan has lost 8 pounds and I have lost 4. We are hittin' up the gym 2-3 times per week and feeling great! We should be at our goal weights by Spring Break, which works out perfectly. :) Healthy eating sucks, but if you stick with it, it works like a charm. It is AMAZING what white flour and sugar does to your waistline!!!This week we got over 5 inches of snow! It is absolutely gorgeous to look at, but not so fun to shovel. We had to go to work- No snow days for us...BOO!!!While we were at work, the snow kept accumulating and accumulating! Our driveway was soooo covered, we couldn't drive up it.I stuck the shovel in the snow to give you a perspective on how deep the snow was...So we decided to shovel...Whew! This is tough work!!! Shoveling the front walkway...Tah-Dah! The snow is soooo pretty. I love when it covers the plants.A "Snow BLOG" would not be complete without our little Sammy running around in it! Go Sammy, Go!!!Snow is great, but enjoyed best from inside the home. Here is a view from our front door...And from the back slider... On Sunday, the sun decided to come out. Here is our "Home Sweet Home."Our street...The green belt across the street- not so green anymore! Haha!Our backyard... We hope everyone has a great week. Keep your fingers crossed for the Colts playoff game this weekend. We soooooo bad want to play and beat the Chargers-haha!
